Soroptimist International of Los Angeles (SILA): For over 80 years, our club has served the women of Los Angeles through our programs of service. Our members have included the first woman to be superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District, the first woman to be the manager of the City of Los Angeles personnel department, a justice of the court of appeals, professionals and executives in retail, government, religious organizations, and in the not for profit sectors.
Your Membership Opportunities: To meet and know other good women, help to run the club and raise support for our programs of service, attend fund raisers and two meetings a month, pay dues and other fees of at least $141.00 a year, pay for two lunches a month consistent with current charges of $275.00 a year, and to be of service to the women and communities of our city.
